Wind power stations

Changes in Polish energy regulations (e.g. facilitations for wind power stations for connections to the mains) suggest, that the number of small wind power stations will increase. In contrast with other European countries Poland until now does not use the advantages of those power stations. In 2007, the total volume of energy production by wind power stations did not exceed 300 MW.
However, by total exploitation of the possibilities in this field, the volume of energy production could rise to 15,000 MW in 2020.
